Terms of Service

Last updated: June 29, 2026

Acceptance Of Terms

These Terms of Service govern use of Haltex, a workshop management system used to receive WhatsApp vehicle reports, create repair tickets, coordinate workshop work, and maintain fleet service records. By using Haltex or sending reports to the connected WhatsApp number, you agree to these terms.

Authorized Use

Haltex is intended for authorized company personnel, workshop users, mechanics, managers, and drivers reporting vehicle issues to the workshop. You must not use the service for unlawful, abusive, misleading, spam, or unauthorized purposes.

WhatsApp Communications

Drivers may submit vehicle reports through WhatsApp, including text, photos, voice notes, and location if shared. Haltex may send WhatsApp replies, ticket confirmations, evidence requests, and repair status updates. Standard WhatsApp, mobile carrier, or data charges may apply.

User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting their account credentials, and using Haltex only for legitimate workshop operations. Managers and mechanics remain responsible for verifying repair details, safety decisions, parts decisions, and closeout information.

AI Assistance

Haltex may use AI to help summarize reports, analyze evidence, suggest likely causes, estimate severity, and draft recommended checks. AI output is provided as operational assistance only and does not replace professional judgment, inspection, safety procedures, or management approval.

Service Availability

We work to keep Haltex available and reliable, but the service may be interrupted by maintenance, internet issues, hosting providers, WhatsApp/Meta services, database providers, AI providers, or other third-party systems. Haltex is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability.

Data And Privacy

Use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Data deletion requests are described in our Data Deletion Instructions.

Intellectual Property

Haltex, including its software, interface, branding, workflows, and documentation, is owned by its respective rights holders. Users may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the service except as expressly authorized.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haltex is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, business, or operational availability arising from use of the service.

Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
